Generating Lule Sámi inflectional paradigms
Generate paradigms for Lule Sámi words
Write the base form of a word and select the wordclass and the tool will generate the whole paradigm for the word. Please notice that we are developing the software; the process is quite slow and there may be some errors. Clitics are in general not included in the paradigm.
You may use the ordinary Lule Sámi characters, the (official) ŋ, or older ń, ñ, and the program understands both äö and æø.
The Lule Sámi analysis program contains close to 20000 base forms (from Spiiks grammar, Nystø/Johansens textbook Sámásta, and above all from Kintels and also Korhonens dictionaries), but much work still remains to be done. If you find errors or omissions, please report back to us in the Sámi language technology team.
