Giellatekno's workers Other members of the research group
Trond Trond Trosterud is the head of Giellatekno. He holds a doctoral degree in theoretical linguistics, and works primarily on grammatical analysis. Lene Lene Antonsen holds a doctorate in Saami language technology, and is cand.philol. with Saami as her main subject. She is the principal designer behind Oahpa (interactive pedagogical programs), but she also works on syntactic analysis, and machine translation. Her position is as professor of Saami linguistics at UiT.
Anders Anders Lorentsen holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science. He primarily works on web related tasks. Richard Richard Kowalik Richard Kowalik holds a doctoral degree in general linguistics. His PhD thesis is a grammatical description of South Saami. He is a postdoc in the project "How can language technology make a difference?", where he investigates the usage and impact of language technology in the South Saami writing community.
Trondty Trond Tynnøl holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science. He works on the Kildin Saami language technology project, and assists in maintaining NDS.
