Analyze and disambiguate South Sámi text

Write or paste the words in the window, and press the "Analyze" or "Reset" button. The options "Analyze" gives all possible analyses, whereas the (default) option "Disambiguate" gives only the analyses appropriate for the given sentence. The program may also hyphenate the text for you, or add syllable boundaries, in which case it will not give a grammatical analysis. Choose "Hyphenate".

The South Sámi analysis program is still not completed. At present, it contains the non-compounded nouns from Bergsland/Mattson Maggas dictionary, most of the verbs in the handbook Verbh (Frändén, Lundqvist and Wilson), and the closed parts of speech are includeed in the program (adjectives are still lacking). If you find errors or omissions, please report back to us in the Sámi language technology team.
