Constraint Grammar and robust parsing
in conjunction with NoDaLiDa 2009, Odense, Denmark, May 14th 2009
The workshop "Constraint Grammar and robust parsing"
Topics | Program | Submission | Dates | Program committee | Registration
The Workshop's topic is Constraint Grammar and its uses in robust parsing. Subtopics include, but are not limited to, annotation grammars concerning morphological disambiguation, syntactic parsing, dependency tree structures, semantic markup, as well as applicational areas such as corpus linguistics, grammar checking, machine translation and others. We also welcome comparative studies involving other annotation techniques and robust parsing schemes.
The purpose of the workshop is to provide a forum for researchers in the area, and to identify cooperation possibilities within and beyond the Constraint Grammar camp. A further goal of the workshop is to make the work within one of the most successful parsing frameworks more visible to the community as a whole.
The workshop will consist of three parts.
- a tutorial on CG rule writing
- a main section with ordinary talks (click Submission to see how to submit your paper)
- an open discussion over future lines of activity and research projects in the field
