Plans for cooperation

Divvun and Giellatekno share a common goal in co-developing North, South and Lule Sámi parsers, in making corpora available, and in setting up an infrastructure for this to work.

Then the projects have some separate goals: Divvun makes hyphenation programs and spell checkers, Giellatekno makes pedagogical programs, disambiguators and a web interface for linguistic research. In addition, the projects cooperate on developing the terminology database for the Language department of the Norwegian Sámi Parliament, risten.no.
